Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the part that matters. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
